THE FORMULA RUKODELIYA INTERNATIONAL CRAFT & HOBBY EXHIBITION is a unique and one of the largest projects of its kind in Russia. Its mission is to promote a wide range of creative hobbies and meaningful leisure activities, connect different sectors of the creative business community, and contribute to the growth of Russia’s craft and creative industries.

Craft enthusiasts, makers and creative individuals look forward to every Formula Rukodeliya event as an opportunity to stock up on materials and supplies, discover new work by their favourite makers, explore the latest products and trends, and learn new techniques. For many participants, Formula Rukodeliya has become the starting point for launching their own creative business, opening a studio or starting an online store.

EXHIBITORS

At Formula Rukodeliya, manufacturers, retailers, creative studios, designers and independent makers, publishing houses, and educational centres showcase craft materials and supplies, original handmade products, and specialist books on crafts and creative hobbies.

Each event brings together more than 350 exhibiting companies and brands under one roof, ranging from major manufacturers and publishers to independent designers, artisans and creative entrepreneurs.

  • Launched: the Formula Rukodeliya International Craft & Hobby Exhibition was first held in January 2009

  • Visitors: more than 18,000 guests attend each event

  • Brands represented: more than 400 brands

  • Exhibitors: more than 350 participating companies

  • Master classes: more than 300 workshops at each event

  • Exhibition space: from 1,500 m² for the Winter edition to 5,500 m² for the Spring and Autumn editions, depending on the season and venue

  • Event calendar: three seasonal editions — Spring, Autumn and Winter

  • Host cities: Moscow — three times a year; St. Petersburg — once a year since 2024

  • Projects currently on hold: exhibitions in Samara, Krasnodar, Yekaterinburg and Kyiv. These projects are currently paused, but we remain open to bringing Formula Rukodeliya back to these cities and expanding the exhibition to new locations in the future.
